I finally finished editing photos from the next segment of my December trip to Florida. On New Year’s Eve before Hayden and I flew out, we spent the day in Miami with my parents. Miami is one of my favorite cities, architecturally at least. A brochure I read described the Art Deco District as a giant open-air museum. I’m fascinated by the pastel colors and the striking geometry of each building, so it was a treat for me to be able to walk around the city again. After a while of walking around, it got pretty hot, so we enjoyed some yummy Cuban sandwiches for lunch. I had a blast taking lots of photos, soaking in the hot Florida sun, and enjoying the amazing architecture of the city!
I hope you enjoyed these pictures! The advantage of having family in South Florida is that I’ll always have an excuse to go back and visit. Next time, I want to document all the lifeguard towers along South Beach. Do you have a favorite city for architecture? Let me know because I’m always adding places to my bucket list!
